Our Origin selection is much more than a product range; it is a tribute to our roots and to the deep connection we maintain with our region.
In our Origin line, we highlight native breeds from Galicia and northern Portugal such as Minhota, Holstein-Friesian, Barrosa, Arouquesa, Mirandesa and many more. Each of these breeds brings a unique combination of texture, flavour and juiciness, enhanced by the natural environment and fat infiltration. Raised with dedication by local farmers, these breeds stand out for their unique characteristics, from the tenderness of their meat to their deep and authentic flavour.
The Origin selection: A tribute to our roots
We work closely with local farmers, breeders and abattoirs in Galicia and Portugal, selecting around 14 different breeds raised freely along the Atlantic coast. The unique environment and exceptional climate contribute directly to the superior quality of our beef.
The animals selected for our Origin line are between 8 and 21 years old, reflecting the farmers’ commitment to responsible and sustainable husbandry passed down through generations. This approach, combined with meticulous regional breeding, results in cow and ox beef of the highest quality.
